Algérie1 – Cameroun 2 : les Lions Indomptables obtiennent leur ticket qualificatif pour le Qatar

Les lions indomptables après leur défaite en match allé, réussissent après un duel aux multiples rebondissements, à venir à bout des Fénneck de l’Algérie en match retour.

C’est exactement à 20heures et 33 minutes, heure du Cameroun que le premier coup de sifflet annonçant le début du match retour du Cameroun contre l’Algérie, a retenti.

Notons que les algériens avaient tous les atouts pour gagner ce match.

Premièrement, ils menaient déjà les lions indomptables du Cameroun 1 but à zéro (match allé de vendredi dernier).

Deuxièmement, le match allait se jouer à domicile où ils ont été invaincus depuis 1988

Et troisièmement, c’est au stade Moustapha Tchaker où ils n’avaient jamais perdu de match en en 43 matchs qu’allait se dérouler le duel.

Donc pour espérer leur participation au mondial, les lions devaient impérativement aller fouiller dans leurs tripes pour gagner.

Impossible n’étant pas camerounais comme on aime bien le dire, ils ont réussi malgré tout à arracher la victoire

Que s’est-il passé en bref durant ce match ?

Tout d’abord les lions ont ouvert le score grâce à un but de Choupo Moting à la 22e minute du match.

Le match s’est poursuivi avec une bonne domination algérienne et d’énormes occasions de but manqués.

À la 99e minute de jeu, Slimani un joueur algérien, a marqué un but de la main qui a été refusé.

Les Fenneck ont malgré tout poursuivi leur offensive et finalement, ont égalisé à la 118e minute grâce à un but d’Ahmed Touba.

La joie algérienne était immense après ce but car ils se croyaient déjà qualifiés.

Mais dommage ! leur jubilation n’a été que de très courte durée puisque le joueur camerounais Toko Ekambi leur a servi une tasse bien amère en inscrivant un but dans les dernières secondes de la fin du match.

Le Cameroun a ainsi décroché son ticket qualificatif pour le mondial 2022 grâce à la règle du but comptant double à l’extérieur et peut maintenant caresser le rêve de devenir le futur champion du monde de football.

Il prendra la route pour le Qatar en novembre prochain sans son voisin le Nigéria, ni son pire ennemi l’Egypte, mais seulement avec les quatre autres pays africains qualifiés, à savoir : le Maroc, la Tunisie, le Ghana et le Sénégal.
